Peter Hook And The Light have announced two Manchester and London concerts where they will perform a “New Order Electronic Set” at the Sankeys Closing Hacienda party Sun 5th May and at Hacienda London The Coronet Fri 21st June. Other upcoming The Light concerts for the summer include Crooked Ways Festival, Barnaby Festival, Splendour in Nottingham, Buxton Opera House, Midi Festival and Rebellion Festival. Peter Hook & The Light’s “Movement” and “Power, Corruption, And Lies” full Manchester Cathedral performance has now been released digitally by Manchester based live recording company Play Concert. Clips of the twenty six tracks from the concert which featured both albums in full as well as the attendant singles from the period 1981 to 1983 are available to preview on the site and a free download, New Order rarity, “Cries And Whispers” has also been made available here - http://bit.ly/12yaXdA - Previously Play Concert and The Light recorded two shows from the Nov 2012 UK “Unknown Pleasures” tour, 53 Degrees Preston and The Cockpit Leeds show free tracks “Transmission” and “Isolation” can be streamed and downloaded from the post below.
