Two Door Cinema Club, la biographie

Formation pop/électro indépendante formée en 2007, Two Door Cinema Club se compose d'Alex Trimble (chant, guitare, synthétiseur), Kevin Baird (basse) et Sam Halliday (guitare). Les trois jeunes hommes se rencontrent sur les bancs du lycée et se font connaître au travers de leurs premiers morceaux postés sur leur blog. Signés sur le label parisien Kitsuné, ils sortent un maxi, "Four Words To Stand On", en 2009.

Comparé à Death Cab For Cutie ou encore à Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club (TDCC) livre un premier album, "Tourist History", en mars 2010, dont le mixage est assuré par Philippe Zdar (Cassius). Auréolé d'un certain buzz sur les divers réseaux sociaux sur Internet, le trio donne conjointement à cette sortie quelques concerts en France et assure notamment la première partie de Phoenix au Zénith de Paris.

To all our fans, Other Voices Festival and the people of Derry/Londonderry

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that we will not be able to appear at the Other Voices Festival in Derry/Londonderry on Sunday 10th February as originally scheduled.

Alex our lead singer has acute laryngitis and cannot speak, let alone sing.

We are sorry for all the fans and all the people that worked hard in making this show happen.

We were all very much looking forward to performing at Other Voices, but unfortunately it is completely out of our control.

We hope to be back very soon.

He was struggling already last night towards the end of the London Brixton Academy show, and pushing his voice hard to get through it resulted in him completely losing his voice this morning.

We are sorry for all the fans and all the people that worked hard in making this show happen.

We were all very much looking forward to performing at Other Voices, but unfortunately it is completely out of our control.

We hope to be back very soon.
